Welcome to Counseling and Mediation Services, the practice of Dr. Gary L. Hardwick, LPC.
I hope you find the material here helpful and meaningful. The specialties of my practice include couples counseling, anxiety treatment, depression treatment, and trauma treatment, stress reduction, and mediation.
A variety of problems can be addressed in couples counseling: communication about topics that lead to conflict or sexual problems and infidelity. If you have grown apart, you can learn how to reconnect by learning more about your partner’s inner world and dreams. You can learn how to overcome some of the practices that harm your relationship like defensiveness and criticism.
All of us feel anxiety or depression. Many of us have experienced trauma. When these feelings and events begin to impact our ability to get along with co-workers or family members, or when they interfere with our ability to enjoy the things that give us meaning and joy, it might be time to consider treatment. You will learn a variety of ways to develop a different relationship with your anxiety, your trauma, and your depression and live more in tune with what you value.
Mediation can help resolve a variety of issues without litigation and with solutions that are beneficial and empowering for all parties.
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) will teach you how to develop a different relationship with your stress.
I invite you to contact me if you have more questions or would like to set an appointment.
